Zachary Chiz is a 2008 graduate of East Burke High School, and a 2013 graduate of North Carolina A&T University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has been working in the fiber industry for the last 10 years – as a fiber splicer and problem solver in the field, a quality engineer in a fiber plant, a sales engineer of a variety of fiber products, and most recently as an entrepreneur and creator of a fiber network. His background and experience ranges from working for a family-owned small business to a Fortune 500 company.

He is excited to use his areas of expertise to provide a fiber optic network to his hometown and serve the people who do not currently have access to quality internet.
